The Effect of Dissipated Power in Electronic Components Evaluation in Simulation with PSPICE

Abstract

There are presented resistor and bipolar transistor macromodels that enable simulation of dissipated power effect on component parameters as well as thermal interaction between them by using PSPICE software. Usage of macromodel instead of PSPICE “built-in” models give cardinal improvement of simulation accuracy.
