Braking Duty of Asynchronous Machine with Solid Rotor

Abstract

On the basis of property of solid ferromagnetic rotor for asynchronous motor braking a single phase stator supply is suggested. There is presented that asynchronous machine with solid ferromagnetic rotor in braking and motor duties gains an advantage over asynchronous machine with squirrel-cage rotor.
