Abstract

Investigated low-frequency magnetic field modeling using finite element method. Analyzed programs COSMOSM and its preprocessor and postprocessor GEOSTAR, their possibilities, discussed main characteristics of finite elements MAG2D, MAG3D, TETRA4 and TETRA10 used for magnetic field modeling. Created overall modeling algorithm presented and low-frequency magnetic field modeling method proposed. Problems of creation of finite element mesh are discussed. Example of modeling of magnetic field created by solenoid actuator is presented. Ill.8, bibl.7 (in English; summaries in Lithuanian, English and Russian).
