The Structure of Electric Field in Charging Corotron
Abstract
An analysis of field structure is performed for electrode system of charging corotron that may be represented as a system “the wire between two parallel plates with different potentials”.The structure of field depends upon the potential of plane electrode representing the surface of dielectric. Criteria for determining the field modes are formulated, conditions for existing of different field modes are presented. Electric flux related to wire electrode may be directed to either of two plane electrodes or distributed between both of them.Published
