Influence of Step Irregularity on Characteristics of the Microstrip Meander Retard Systems
Abstract
An important part of the microstrip meander retard system is meander conductor with certain period of recurrence. Due the deflections in technology the strips step of fabricated meander retard system is not the same as specified. Two types of meander step irregularity can take place - the different spaces between equal meander strips and different spaces between different neighboring meander strips. This paper discusses the influence of step irregularity on electrical characteristics of microstrip meander retard systems with equal meander strips.Published
