Overvoltages in the Asynchronous PWR Converter Cascade Drive

Abstract

The conditions arising overvoltages in the inverter of the asynchronous pulse width regulated (PWR) converter cascade drive are investigated. The electromagnetic processes in the converter depending on buffer circuit change are shown. The method for determining parameters of the buffer circuit elements is presented.
