Computer Programs for Investigation of Intercellular Communication using Double Whole Cell Voltage Clamp
Abstract
The set of programs (Microsoft Windows and DOS applications) for investigation of electrical intercellular communication using Double Whole Cell Voltage Clamp method consists of programs for experiment flow control and specialized signal analysis. Various data export possibilities via Windows Clipboard are the new features of programs. Signal data or measurement results' export to popular universal data processing programs (Ex. Microsoft Excel, Sigma Plot, etc.) allow to use all conventional data analysis methods and to realize the new analysis ideas rising in everyday's work. Export of signal pictures in various graphical formats allows to use popular graphic design programs (Microsoft Power Point, Corel Draw, etc.) for presentation of investigation results. Experiment flow control program allows to substitute an oscilloscope and pulse generator by computer and make an automatic experiment flow control. Additional utility programs allow to do a comfortable data management and documentation.Published
