Development of Lithuanian Railway Telecommunication Network

Abstract

The analysis of present situation in Lithuanian railway telecommunications are done. There is given survey of development trends in railway telecommunications of other countries. The creation strategy of Lithuanian railway telecommunications based on ring information transmission structures, fibre optic cables in primary network, SDH systems, mobile and radio - relay systems and data transmission network integrated in the PBX network are discussed in the issue.
