Evaluation of Utility of Informative Sources
Abstract
When giving decisions the evaluation methods on the utility of information are analysed, based on analytical subordinations between the parameters on exploitation of informative sources and obtainable effect. The informative system is defined according to its functional network, the tops of which are the parameters of informative sources or the results of propositions of partial tasks, and the bends denominate the functional connections among the tops (sources and partial tasks). Using the model of informative controlling system of rail freight, the efficiency of those methods is displayed hereto. The information on factual train pathway and their weight is evaluated in this system. The remarks on the employment of the evaluation methods of the utility of expert information are provided.
