Research of Equivalent Circuit and Structure Diagram of PV Module

Abstract

Random alternation of solar energy parameters causes troubles in many occasions of natural experimentations dealing with solar irradiance. Therefore mathematical or schematic simulation of the PV modules could be useful sometimes in structures of simulation of solar energy electrical conversion. Two ways of simulation of PV module are presented in this paper. The program for mathematical simulation CADoHS, which was worked out in Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Control Systems at Kaunas University of Technology is used in one of them, in another – the MULTISIM program for schematic simulation. The simulation is carried out on the basis of structure diagram of PV module. The results of the PV module simulation are good in both ways. The program CADoHS is more convenient in respect of treatment of final results of simulation.
