Quality of Electromechanical Converters
Abstract
The indirect air gap nonuniformity control methods of electromechanical converters (EC) are based on a sufficiently sensitive informative diagnostic parameters dependence from the use of the gap nonuniformity kind. A mathematical model for the investigation of EC pulsating electromagnetic torques (PET) components, taking into account higher current harmonics, static and dynamic eccentricity, slotted stator and rotor. A method of determing PET formation conditions, calculation harmonics amplitude values and their frequency variations, in regard to the manufacturing errors, has been developed. On the basis of the developed mathematical models are theoretically grounded indirect air gap control and diagnostic parameters: synchronous torque, component of PET, starting torque, component of reaction torque, unipolar magnetic flux and synchronizing torque. Functional relationships and derived analytical relationships between the air gap nonuniformity kind and indirect diagnostic parameter have been described.Published
