Influence of Telecommunication and Informational Technologies Convergence to Public Development
Abstract
There are described modern informational technologies and their application in Lithuania. There is pointed out that today in Lithuanian villages there are over 1000 public Internet stations. This number may be increased with the help of Lithuanian post offices. There is discussed Convergence conception and new possibilities to study, fulfil activities at the distant work place, develop business and public contacts.
