Reliability Analysis of some Concatenated Codes with Channel Coding Models using
Abstract
Objective of the paper is to discuss a technique for estimation of the reliability of some concatenated codes. The authors propose iterative approach to compute the equivalent symbol error rate for sequential coding using concatenated codes in Gaussian channel with continuous transmission and phase shift keying. Theoretical analysis of the algorithm performance is presented. The proposed algorithm is implemented in MATLAB 6.5 and SIMULINK programming environment. The modelling results support our theoretical considerations. Ill. 2, bibl. 6 (in Russian; summaries in Lithuanian, English and Russian).
