Traffic Models of ATM Network Sources
AbstractThe used models of voice sources assume that the duration of both active and silent periods is approximated by the exponential distribution. The model is developed on a single queue, where a number of voice sources is multiplexed. An analytically tractable model of video sources with uniform activity levels is created using Markovian processes of discrete state and continuous time. Some modelling results are presented .
