Research of Non-linearity’s of Optical Communication

Abstract

There is presented the model of optical communication system and evaluated the light-emitting diode, optical fiber and photo receiver non-linearity’s. For simulation their influence in signal distortion is developed functional Volterra series. The mathematical model of the light source jointed into a system is investigated. There are estimate pn junction diffusion and barrier capacitances and pn junction currents non-linearity’s The analytical expression of the non-linearity of the light-emitting diode equivalent scheme elements are obtained. There are given equation systems in operation form for linear, square and cube systems of the light source. There are obtained the nucleans of the functional Volterra-series and the transmission characteristics of the light-emitting diode are assumed. By using this method the light-emitting diodes first harmonics change of input signal dependences are presented. Ill. 3, bibl. 5 (in Lithuanian; summaries in Lithuanian, English, Russian).
