Focus and Scope

The journal aims to attract original research papers on featuring practical developments in the field of electronics and electrical engineering. The journal seeks to publish research progress in the field of electronics and electrical engineering with an emphasis on the applied rather than the theoretical in as much detail as possible.

The journal publishes regular papers dealing with the following areas, but not limited to:

Peer Review Process and Plagiarism Policy

The research journal ELEKTRONIKA IR ELEKTROTECHNIKA peer reviews all the material submitted using OJS. Some the submissions are rejected without being sent out for external per review on the grounds of priority, insufficient originality and scientific flaws. A decision on such papers is taken quickly, usually within 3-6 weeks.

The remaining papers should be evaluated by two reviewers and by the anonymous expert member of the Editorial board, usually within 3-6 months. Authors are welcome to suggest qualified 3-5 independent reviewers.

Once the paper was reviewed and the comments from reviewers were received final decision concerning the publishing is made by the Editorial board usually within 3-6 weeks.

Authors must to revise the paper in accordance with remarks or to give reasonable explanation of ignoring some remark. Paper must be revised during the 2 weeks counting from the day the article has been returned to the author. After the review, revised articles are to be submitted to the Editorial Board through OJS along with detailed response in written for the reviewers concerning the performed corrections. Corrections must be provided in other text color.

The Editorial board is the competent authority in taking decision(s) on selection or rejection of the manuscripts of all the research/review/similar articles submitted to the Journal. The decision taken by Editorial board is final in all respects and no further comments/communications from authors in this regard is expected.

It may be noted that the aforesaid policy may change with or without notice to the authors/ contributors of this journal. The decision of the Journal in respect of management of a paper in every step is taken as final.

ELEKTRONIKA IR ELEKTROTECHNIKA protects the rights of authors and investigate claims of plagiarism or misunderstandings of published papers. Submitted articles are checked with duplication-checking software CrossRef. If the fact of plagiarism is estimated Editorial Board of Journal has the right to take action including, but not limited to: publishing an erratum or corrigendum (correction); retracting the article; inform the dean of the author's institution and/or relevant academic bodies or societies.

Publication Ethics

The journal is committed to ensuring ethics in publication and quality of articles. Conformance to standards of ethical behavior is therefore expected of all parties involved: Editors, Reviewers and Authors.

Editors

Editors should evaluate papers exclusively on the basis of their academic merit. Editors’ decisions to accept or reject a paper for publication should be based on the paper’s importance, originality and clarity, and the study’s validity and its relevance to the journal. Editors should ensure that material submitted to their journal remains confidential while under review. Editors should ensure that appropriate reviewers are selected for review. Editors should ensure that the journal employs double-blind peer review. Reviewers are not aware of the identity of the authors and authors of the identity of reviewers. Editors should take reasonable responsive measures when ethical complaints have been presented concerning a submitted manuscript or published paper. Editors maintain and promote the policy of screening for plagiarism.

Reviewers

Any paper received for review must be treated as confidential document. Reviews should be conducted objectively, observations should be formulated clearly with supporting arguments, so that authors could understand it and to use them for improving the quality of paper. Reviewers should comment on the originality of submissions and should be alert to redundant publication and plagiarism. Reviewers should not consider papers in which they have conflicts of interest resulting from competitive, collaborative, or other relationships or connections with any of the authors, companies, or institutions connected to the papers. Reviewers assist the editors in taking the decision of publishing a submitted manuscript. By formulating suggestions to the authors, the reviewers can contribute to the improvement of submitted papers.

Authors

Authors should ensure that their paper is entirely original, not published before. Authors should ensure that if information is taken from other sources, it is clearly cited and all permissions is obtained. If the paper of others have been used in paper, it must be appropriately acknowledged. Authors understand that plagiarism in all its forms constitutes unethical publishing behavior and is unacceptable. Authors should ensure that the paper has not been previously published and it is not submitted for other journal. Authors should ensure that all data presented in the paper is true. The corresponding author should ensure that there is a full consensus of all co-authors in approving the final version of the paper and its submission for publication.

Publication Frequency

The journal ELEKTRONIKA IR ELEKTROTECHNIKA is a bimonthly research journal.  The journal is published regularly at the end of each following month: No. 1 - February, No. 2 - April, No. 3 - June, No. 4 - August, No. 5 - October, No. 6 - December.

Open Access Policy

The journal ELEKTRONIKA IR ELEKTROTECHNIKA journal is published open access under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY 4.0) licence which allows readers to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles. The journal provides open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

Copyright

Authors retain copyright and grant the journal ELEKTRONIKA IR ELEKTROTECHNIKA the right of the first publication with the paper simultaneously licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY 4.0) licence that allows others to share the work with an acknowledgement of the authorship of the work and initial publication in the journal ELEKTRONIKA IR ELEKTROTECHNIKA.

Authors are allowed to enter into separate, additional contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution of the paper published in the journal ELEKTRONIKA IR ELEKTROTECHNIKA (e.c., post the paper to an institutional repository or publish the paper in a book), with an acknowledgement of the initial publication in the journal ELEKTRONIKA IR ELEKTROTECHNIKA.

The journal has been continuously published since 1995 (since 1966 had been published the journal "Radioelectronics").
