These processes – are electromagnetic and electromechanical phenomena associated not only with the changes converter‘s supply voltage, current, load and negative acceleration of the secondary element in braking but with the edge effects of the electromagnetic field as well. The analysis of literature on the problem has shown that in recent years there is no scientific well-founded methodics enable to stady a non-stationary processes and current commutation processes in converters and calculate their dynamic characteristics. The internal magnetic and electric asymmetry distinquish oneself in special converters because of the open magnetic circuit and final lenght of the active zone existing longitudinal edge effect. Therefore, known mathematical models and methods there are no siutable for investigation an asymmetric converters. Analytical computational model of EMC braking modes and differential equations for dynamic processes are received. The changes of the braking current and velocity of the secondary element and reciprocity interaction of both edge effects in thsese equations are estimate.
