The chosen algorithm and the applying techniques for conveying the ball to the targeted point are significant in optimizing this game. A research has been carried out on the basic concepts of the genetic algorithm in this study, and has been concentrated on how this algorithm can be applied on a physics problem. Properties those have learnt as a result of the carried out research have been applied to the problem by making various arrangements as required by the nature of the problem for conveying the ball to the target point in optimizing of a mini-golf game. Effects of the presented genetic algorithm elements over the calculation time of the solution of the problem have been evaluated by various tests during the application process. It has been observed that the genetic algorithm is effective in determining the required velocity and direction components for conveyance of the ball to the target point.
