Abstract

DC electronic load has a relatively wide range of applications to test and evaluate the steady-state and transient response characteristics of emerging power sources. In this paper, a DC electronic load operating in constant current mode is presented. This device is designed based on Boost topology and can achieve high control accuracy. The experimental results show that the proposed electronic load has high precision and power scalability relative to the traditional resistive load.
