Abstract

In the Kaunas institute of Cardiology of Kaunas university of medicine the clinical decision support system, designed for diagnostics of most important cardiac syndrome - chronic cardiac insufficiency is underdevelopment. In diagnostics of this syndrome it is important to evaluate various cardiac rhythm disturbances that are detected by means of long lasting ECG monitoring systems. The aim of this work was development of ECG monitoring system and integration to structure of system for diagnostics of chronic cardiac insufficiency. Testing of developed ECG monitoring system revealed the following results: the QRS complexes were recognized with accuracy of 99.5percent, QRS complexes were classified with accuracy of 90.4percent and disturbances of cardiac rhythm were detected with accuracy of 87.6percent.
